State Bank of India Junior Associate Clerk Recruitment

The State Bank of India has announced the opening of applications for the Junior Associate Clerk position. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 9,124 clerk vacancies. Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official website until August 31, 2026.

**Eligibility Criteria**

To be eligible for the Junior Associate Clerk role, applicants must possess a bachelor's degree from a recognized university in India. Additionally, those in their final year of graduation are also welcome to apply.

The age of applicants will be determined as of April 1, 2026, with the age limit set between 20 and 28 years. Relaxations in age will be granted to candidates from reserved categories: OBC candidates will receive a 3-year relaxation, SC and ST candidates will get 5 years, and candidates with disabilities will have a 10-year relaxation.

**Selection Procedure**

The selection for the Junior Associate Clerk positions will involve three phases: the Preliminary Examination, the Main Examination, and the Local Language Proficiency Test. The Preliminary Examination will consist of 100 questions totaling 100 marks, focusing on English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. This exam will last for one hour, with a penalty of one-fourth of a mark for each incorrect answer. Candidates who pass the Preliminary Examination will be eligible for the Main Examination, which will be worth 200 marks. Those who qualify in this exam will then take the Local Language Proficiency Test.

**Salary Information**

Selected candidates for the clerk positions will earn a monthly salary ranging from ₹24,050 to ₹64,480. The registration fee is as follows:
