NEET UG 2026 Correction Window Details
The application period for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG Form 2026) was from February 8 to March 11. A significant number of candidates submitted their applications for this examination. The National Testing Agency has now initiated the NEET Correction Window, which opened on March 12 and will remain accessible until March 14, 2026, at 11:50 PM.
Candidates who encountered issues while completing their forms can rectify their details within the specified timeframe. Please note that all corrections must be made online.
Fields Available for Correction:
Candidates can amend the following sections of their application form:
- Either Father's name, qualification, and occupation, or Mother's name, qualification, and occupation
- Details of educational qualifications (Class X and Class XII), State/Union Territory from which the 12th/equivalent examination was passed/appeared, Category
- Subcategory/Person with Disability, Signature
- Number of attempts in NEET (UG)
Exam City and Medium Changes:
Candidates may also modify their exam city based on their permanent address and the medium of examination. Changes to identity details are permitted for those who registered using an identity card other than Aadhaar.
Application Statistics:
As of now, over 22.60 lakh applications have been submitted nationwide for this examination. The NEET UG exam is scheduled for May 3, 2026, and will be conducted in a pen-and-paper format from 2 PM to 5 PM. This examination is crucial for securing admission to MBBS and other medical courses in both government and private medical institutions across the country. Currently, approximately 129,000 MBBS seats are available nationwide.
