JEE Main 2027 Registration Details


Students gearing up for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2027 have some crucial updates. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has initiated the online registration process for JEE Main Session 1 starting from October 24, 2026. Candidates can fill out and submit their application forms until November 20, 2026, to be eligible for the Session 1 examination.


**Late Application Option**
In case students miss the initial deadline, they can still apply between November 23 and 26, 2026, by paying a late fee of ₹500.

**Eligibility Requirements**
To qualify for the JEE Main examination, candidates must have completed Class 12 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Students currently in Class 12 are also eligible to apply. There is no age restriction for this examination.


**How to Apply**
To fill out the JEE Main 2027 application form, visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. On the homepage, under 'LATEST NEWS', click on 'Online Application Form for JEE (Main) 2027 – Session 1'.
Start by completing the registration process through the 'New Registration' link.
After registration, candidates can proceed with the application by entering the necessary details and uploading their photograph, signature, etc.


Finally, submit the application after paying the required fee.
It is advisable to print a copy of the completed form for future reference.

Application Fees
For the JEE Main 2027 application, candidates from the unreserved category need to pay ₹1000, while those from the General-OBC and General-EWS categories are required to pay ₹900. Female candidates in the unreserved, General-OBC, and General-EWS categories must pay ₹800. The fee for SC, ST, transgender, and PwD candidates is ₹500. All applicants can pay the fee online using debit cards, credit cards, or net banking.
