JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Exam Details



The second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026 is set to begin on April 2nd. Students who are registered for the exam can expect their admit cards to be available shortly. The National Testing Agency (NTA) usually releases these cards 3 to 4 days prior to the exam, so it is likely that the hall tickets will be accessible for download either today, March 30th, or tomorrow, March 31st.


Steps to Download the Admit Card


Once the NTA publishes the JEE Main admit cards, candidates can download them from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Here’s how to do it:


1. Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.


2. On the homepage, find the 'LATEST NEWS' section and click on the link that says "Admit Card for JEE(Main)-2026 [Session-II] is LIVE!".


3. On the next page, input your Application Number, Password, and the security code, then click 'Submit'.


4. Your admit card will be displayed on the screen; you can download it and print it out.


Exam Schedule by Subject


The NTA will conduct exams at various centers across the country from April 2nd to April 8th. According to the timetable, Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) will take place on April 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th, 2026. Meanwhile, Paper 2A (B.Arch), Paper 2B (B.Planning), and the combined Paper 2A & 2B will be held on April 7th, 2026.
