India Post is currently conducting a recruitment initiative to fill 28,740 positions across various states in the country. So far, three merit lists have been published, and candidates who have not yet seen their names listed are eagerly anticipating the announcement of the 4th merit list. How to Access the 4th Merit List
The 4th merit list from India Post will be available online on the official website: indiapost.gov.in/gdsonlineengagement. Candidates will not receive individual notifications regarding their results. To check the results, follow these steps:

2. On the homepage, click on the link labeled 'Shortlisted Candidates – Schedule 1 (January 2026).'
3. Select your state and click on the corresponding merit list link.
4. A PDF file will open, allowing you to verify your details.
Contents of the Merit List PDF
The merit list will include essential information for selected candidates, such as Division, Office Name, Post ID, Post Name, Category, Registration Number, and Percentage. Those who make it onto the list will need to proceed to the document verification stage. Successful deployment to the vacant positions will only occur after this verification. Candidates must bring all original documents along with two photocopies during this process.
Salary Details for Selected Candidates
Candidates chosen for the Branch Postmaster (BPM) roles will earn a salary between ₹12,000 and ₹29,380. Those selected for the ABPM/Dak Sevak positions will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹24,470.
