CTET Exam to be Conducted Over Two Days
Originally, the CTET was set for February 8, but due to the high volume of applicants, CBSE has opted to extend the exam to two days: February 7 and 8, 2026. The examination will take place in around 140 cities nationwide, with two shifts scheduled each day: the first from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and the second from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

Typically, the CTET admit card is issued two days prior to the exam. Therefore, candidates taking the exam on February 7 are expected to receive their admit cards today, while those scheduled for February 8 may get theirs on February 6. 4. After submitting this information, your admit card will be displayed on the screen. Download it and print a copy.
Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates are strongly advised to arrive at the examination center at least 90 minutes to 2 hours before the exam starts, as entry will be closed once the exam begins. It is essential to bring a photo ID along with the admit card. The CTET exam is worth 150 marks, and there is no negative marking. A minimum score of 60% is required for the general category, while 55% is necessary for reserved categories.
