Central Bank of India Recruitment for Specialist Officers



The Central Bank of India has initiated the application process for the recruitment of Specialist Officers. A total of 275 positions are available for interested candidates. Eligible individuals can submit their applications via the official website until March 23, 2026.


Eligibility Criteria


Candidates wishing to apply must possess a Bachelor of Science (BE) or a B.Tech in Computer Science or Computer Applications from a recognized institution in India. Additionally, they must fulfill other specified eligibility requirements.


The age limit for applicants will be determined as of January 31, 2026. Depending on the position, the maximum age limit is set at 30, 35, or 45 years. Age relaxation provisions are available: SC and ST candidates can avail a five-year relaxation, OBC candidates a three-year relaxation, and candidates with disabilities a ten-year relaxation.


Selection Process


Candidates will undergo a selection process that includes a written examination followed by an interview. The written test will feature 75 questions covering relevant subjects, reasoning, banking, and general awareness, totaling 100 marks. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. Those who pass the written exam will be invited for an interview.


Application Fees


All candidates are required to pay a registration fee to apply. The fee is ₹175 for SC and ST candidates, while it is ₹850 for candidates from the unreserved category. Applications submitted without the requisite fee will not be processed.


The examination is scheduled for April, and the Central Bank of India will soon announce the official exam date.
