CBSE Class 12 Results Update: DigiLocker Prepares for Release Amid Evaluation Delays
DigiLocker Prepares for Class 12 Results
Students are often under the impression that an ‘APAAR ID’ is necessary to access their results. However, the Board has clarified that even those without this ID can successfully create accounts on DigiLocker.
Anticipation Grows for CBSE Class 12 Results
Excitement is building among the numerous students who took the CBSE Class 12 exams. DigiLocker has indicated that results may be released shortly, having issued its second significant update in just two days. However, internal reports from the Board suggest complications in the evaluation of answer sheets, leading to confusion.
DigiLocker Updates and Student Preparations
The buzz around the results intensified when DigiLocker confirmed that Class 12 results would soon be accessible on its platform. This announcement has led students to believe that results could be available within the next 24 to 48 hours. To prevent last-minute rushes and potential website crashes, the government has advised students to activate their DigiLocker accounts ahead of time. The Board has provided a straightforward procedure for this.
Steps to Check Results Without an APAAR ID
Students can still check their results without an ‘APAAR ID’. The Board has confirmed that creating a DigiLocker account is possible for those lacking this ID.
Activating Your DigiLocker Account
To activate your account, follow these steps:
1. Visit the official DigiLocker portal: cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in.
2. Click on the ‘Get Started’ button.
3. Fill in your personal information along with the 6-digit Access Code provided by your school.
4. Enter your mobile number and verify it using the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to that number. Your account will be activated, allowing you to view your digital marksheet on the results day.
Ongoing Evaluation of Answer Sheets
While preparations for the results are progressing on various digital platforms, credible sources within the CBSE have indicated that the evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets is still in progress. Reports indicate that some answer sheets, which could not be scanned due to technical issues or poor internet connectivity, are now being evaluated manually. Special teams of teachers are currently reviewing these answer sheets using traditional methods at several centers in and around Delhi.
Expected Announcement Date for Results
Initially, students were hopeful that results would be announced on May 12 or 13. However, due to the ongoing evaluation process, it now seems unlikely that results will be declared before May 15. Experts predict that the results could be announced anytime between May 15 and May 20.
