CBSE Class 12 Results Announced
Students who took the CBSE Class 12 board exams have been eagerly anticipating their results, and the wait is finally over. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published the Class 12 Result for 2026 online at results.cbse.nic.in. Besides the official website, students can also access their mark sheets through DigiLocker and the UMANG app. Additionally, results can be verified via SMS.
Performance Overview
This year, over 17,000 students achieved scores above 95% in the Class 12 examinations. The overall pass rate stands at 85.20%, indicating a successful year for many.

Compartment Exam Schedule
The CBSE has announced that the Class 12 compartment exams will take place on July 15, 2026, with applications opening on June 2.
Application Process for Compartment Exams
Students who receive a compartment result will soon be able to apply for the supplementary examination by filling out the necessary forms within the designated timeframe, ensuring they do not lose an academic year.
Statistics on Compartment Results
Out of 1,780,365 students who registered for the board exams, 1,507,109 passed, while 163,800 received compartment results.

Overall Results
The CBSE announced the Class 12 main examination results, revealing that 85.20% of students passed, a decrease from last year's 88.39%. This year, 1,507,109 students passed, down by 3.19% from the previous year. Female students outperformed male students, with pass rates of 88.86% and 82.13%, respectively, marking a 6.73% advantage for females.
For the first time, the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system was implemented for the evaluation process.
