CBSE Class 12 Results Released
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the results for the Class 12 examinations today, May 13. Around 18.5 lakh students who participated in the exams can access their results by visiting the official CBSE websites: cbse.gov.in or results.cbse.nic.in. The results have been published based on different streams. Additionally, students can also retrieve their results through DigiLocker, SMS, and the UMANG app.
Pass Percentage Overview
This year, the overall pass percentage for the CBSE Class 12 examination stands at 85.20%. Notably, female students achieved a pass rate of 88.86%, while male students recorded a pass percentage of 82.13%.
Accessing Results Without Internet

Students and their guardians can check results even without internet access. To do so via SMS, type "cbse12 [Roll Number] [School Number] [Center Number]" and send it to 7738299899. The result will be sent to your phone shortly.

Steps to Download Results
To view and download the results, follow these steps:
1. Visit the official CBSE websites: cbse.gov.in or results.cbse.nic.in.
2. Click on the 'Results' section on the homepage.
3. Select the "CBSE 12th Result 2026" link and enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth to log in.
4. Your result will be displayed on the screen. Make sure to print it for future reference.
Post-Result Information
**Minimum Passing Marks**
To pass the CBSE Class 12 examination, students must achieve at least 33% marks. Those who do not pass in one or two subjects will have the opportunity to take compartment examinations, with applications for these exams opening soon.
