CBSE Class 12 Board Exams Postponed in Middle Eastern Countries
CBSE Board Exam Update
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a temporary postponement of the Class 12 board examinations that were set to take place in several Middle Eastern nations. This decision was communicated in a circular released on March 7, 2026, citing the prevailing circumstances as the reason for the change.
Exams originally scheduled from March 9 to March 11 for students enrolled in CBSE-affiliated institutions in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE have been deferred. The board assured that new dates for these examinations will be provided shortly, and further decisions regarding upcoming exams will be made after a thorough assessment of the situation.
The postponement affects the Class 12 board exams planned for March 9 (Monday), March 10 (Tuesday), and March 11 (Wednesday). The board emphasized that only these specific dates have been impacted, and students will be given ample notice regarding the rescheduled dates to facilitate a smooth examination process.
Review of Situation on March 10
CBSE has indicated that the circumstances in these regions will be reassessed on March 10, 2026. Based on this evaluation, a decision will be made concerning exams slated for March 12 and later. Should conditions improve, the examinations may proceed as initially planned, although adjustments to the schedule may still be necessary depending on the situation.

Students and parents are encouraged to stay informed through their schools and avoid relying on unverified information or rumors. Official updates regarding new exam dates and other critical information will be disseminated through the schools.
