The submission phase for CAT 2026 applications has concluded. However, candidates who have successfully registered and paid the application fee can rectify certain details in their forms. The edit window will be accessible from 10:00 AM on October 5, 2026, until 5:00 PM on October 6, 2026.

Exam Schedule

IIM Indore is set to conduct the CAT 2026 examination on November 29, 2026, across three shifts. The schedule is as follows:



  • First Shift: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM


  • Second Shift: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM


  • Third Shift: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM



The CAT 2026 exam will consist of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA). Candidates will earn three marks for each correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for incorrect responses.


Admit Card and Results

The admit card for CAT 2026 will be available on November 4, and results are anticipated to be released in the first week of January 2027. Admission to MBA and PGDM programs at IIMs, business schools, and other management institutions will be based on CAT scores.
