Candidates taking the first shift should arrive at the examination center by 8:30 AM, while those in the second shift must report by 1 PM.

The preliminary examination for Bihar SI will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, totaling 200 marks. Candidates will have 2 hours to complete the exam, which will cover general knowledge and current affairs. Each correct answer will earn 20 marks, while 0.2 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. Based on the preliminary exam scores, 20 times the number of available positions will be invited to take the main examination.
