The official notification for this recruitment was released on January 15, 2026, with a total of 600 apprentice positions available across various branches nationwide. Interested candidates can apply online starting from January 15, 2026, until the application deadline on January 25, 2026. It is recommended that candidates complete their applications promptly.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India. Additionally, proficiency in the local language of the respective state or Union Territory is required, which must be validated through the 10th or 12th-grade mark sheet.


Age Limit

Candidates should be at least 20 years old and not exceed 28 years as of November 30, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and other reserved categories. It is advisable to refer to the official notification for precise age calculations and regulations.


Application Fee Structure

The application fee varies by category: General, EWS, and OBC candidates must pay Rs. 150 (including GST), while SC and ST candidates are required to pay Rs. 100. Candidates with disabilities are exempt from the application fee, promoting greater participation.


Selection Process and Training

Post-selection, apprentices will undergo a one-year training program in accordance with the Apprentices Act, 1961, and the guidelines of Bank of Maharashtra. This training will encompass various banking tasks to equip candidates for future employment.


Stipend During Training

During the training phase, apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,300, which will remain unchanged throughout the year. However, the bank has specified that no additional allowances or benefits will be provided during this period. Training hours are typically from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, subject to adjustments based on the bank's needs.
