AIIMS INI SS January 2026: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), located in New Delhi, has announced the counseling timeline for the Institute of National Importance – Super Specialty (INI-SS) session for January 2026. According to the official timeline, the results for the Institute Allotment of INI-SS 2025 Round-1 will be published on December 29, 2025.

As per AIIMS's announcement, the choice filling process for INI-SS Round-1 is currently underway. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can select their preferred institutions based on their chosen subject or specialty by visiting the official website. The deadline for completing the choice filling is December 26, 2025, by 5 PM.

Eligibility Criteria for INI-SS Counseling:

AIIMS has specified that candidates must achieve a minimum of 50% marks in the INI-SS examination to be eligible for the choice filling process. The portal for choice filling will only be accessible to those who meet this criterion. This counseling is intended for admissions into the Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) programs.

Access to Choice Filling:

The official notification from AIIMS indicates that the choice filling portal will be available exclusively on the 'My Page' section for candidates who satisfy the eligibility requirements. Candidates must log in using the same user ID and password they utilized during the application process for the INI-SS January 2026 session.

Two Rounds of Counseling:

The counseling for INI-SS January 2026 will be conducted in two rounds by AIIMS New Delhi. Following the first round, the online allotment results for the second round will be announced on January 20, 2026.

Institute allocation will be determined solely based on merit, and only those candidates who register within the specified timeframe will be considered. AIIMS has also stated that candidates will not have the option to modify or reorder their choices after the deadline for the first round. The second round of allotment will rely on the choices made in the first round.
