Provisional Answer Key for Re-NEET UG 2026 Expected This Week
The provisional answer key along with the response sheets for Re-NEET UG 2026 is anticipated to be published this week. Candidates will have the opportunity to download the answer key from the official website and can also submit objections regarding any discrepancies in the answers.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to unveil the provisional answer key and candidates' response sheets for Re-NEET UG 2026 shortly. Students who participated in the examination can access the official site, neet.nta.nic.in, to download the answer key and calculate their expected scores.
While the NTA has not confirmed a specific date for the answer key's release, reports suggest it will be available within this week.
Steps to Access the Answer Key
Once the answer key is made available, candidates should follow these steps:
1. Visit the official NEET website.
2. Click on the link labeled 'NEET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key'.
3. Enter your application number and password (or other required login credentials).
4. After logging in, the answer key and response sheet will be displayed on the screen for download.
Procedure for Raising Objections
If a candidate believes that an answer provided in the official key is incorrect, they can file an objection. The NTA will activate an objection window for this purpose. Candidates must select the question in question, assert the correct answer, and upload relevant documents in PDF format. Objections will only be accepted after the necessary fee is paid. Subject matter experts will evaluate all objections before the final answer key is published.
Exam Participation and Security Measures
Over 22 lakh students participated in the Re-NEET 2026 exam, which took place on June 21 at various centers across India and internationally. The NTA implemented several security measures, including biometric verification, facial recognition, CCTV monitoring, signal jammers, and two-tier frisking to ensure the integrity and transparency of the examination. The test was conducted in 13 languages, with more than 5,000 centers established for the event.
Dress Code Regulations
The NTA enforced a strict dress code, prohibiting full-sleeved clothing, heavily embroidered garments, jackets, hoodies, and items with large buttons. Candidates were instructed to wear only slippers or low-heeled sandals to the exam center; closed shoes, sports shoes, and boots were not permitted.
Moreover, additional security checks were arranged for candidates wearing religious or traditional attire. These individuals were advised to arrive at the center well in advance to facilitate timely screening without causing delays to the examination process.
