Uttar Pradesh Government Job Updates

A significant announcement is on the horizon for individuals aspiring for government positions in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is anticipated to unveil the recruitment notification for the PCS 2026 examination shortly. Reports indicate that the application process may commence within this week. Initially, around 750 positions are expected to be filled. Currently, technical difficulties with the online application system are being addressed, after which the notification will be released.

Historically, the number of available positions tends to increase over time. For instance, the initial notification for the 2025 recruitment indicated 200 posts, which later expanded to 920. Similarly, the 2024 recruitment started with 220 posts and eventually grew to 947.

**Next Phase of Computer Assistant Recruitment: Hindi Typing Test**

The recruitment for 14 Computer Assistant positions is also advancing. The 169 candidates who passed the first examination stage are now required to undertake a Hindi typing test. The Commission has opened the online application process for this phase, allowing candidates to apply until July 8.

**Application Deadline for Polytechnic Principal Recruitment**

The recruitment for 21 Principal positions in polytechnic institutes under the Uttar Pradesh Technical Education Service is currently in progress. Candidates who participated in the written examination must now apply online for the next phase. The Commission has established July 7 as the application deadline.

**Preparations for LT Grade (Computer) Main Exam Intensify**

The way is now clear for the main examination of the LT Grade (Assistant Teacher - Computer) recruitment in government secondary schools. The preliminary exam results were announced on May 16. Successful candidates have begun their preparations for the main exam, with subsequent stages of the recruitment process expected to start soon.
