BPSCC Vacancy 2026: The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSCC) has released a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Operation) positions. A total of 462 vacancies are available for this recruitment drive. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online from February 4, 2026, to March 4, 2026. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics from a recognized institution. Furthermore, they must have achieved at least 50% marks by August 1, 2025. For Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) applicants, the minimum marks requirement is lowered to 45%.

Age Limit:

The age of candidates will be determined as of August 1, 2025. Applicants must meet the specified minimum and maximum age criteria on this date.

For male candidates in the unreserved (General) category, the age range is set between 21 and 37 years, while female candidates must be between 21 and 40 years. For Backward Class (BC) and Extremely Backward Class (EBC) candidates, both male and female, the age limit is also 21 to 40 years.

Selection Procedure:

The selection will occur in three phases. The first phase involves a written examination, which includes both preliminary and main exams, conducted in an objective format. The second phase consists of a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which includes running, high jump, long jump, and shot put. The final phase will include document verification and a medical examination to confirm the candidates' eligibility and physical fitness.
