As part of the NEET UG 2026 examination process, the NTA has provided important information regarding fee refunds. The agency clarified that refunds will only be processed to bank accounts that have been registered and verified on the official website. Furthermore, students who made mistakes while entering their bank details will be allowed to amend them after the exam.

Importance of Accurate Bank Details for Refunds

The NTA emphasized that the refund process will be conducted online and securely. Therefore, it is vital for candidates to ensure that the bank account information they provided is both active and accurate. Submitting incorrect account details could lead to delays in the refund process or even prevent payment from being processed. The NTA has made it clear that it never requests OTPs, passwords, UPI PINs, or any payment-related information from candidates.
