IBPS PO Result 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is set to release the results for the PO/MT Preliminary Exam 2025 shortly. IBPS PO Exam Pattern

Exam Structure:
The IBPS PO Preliminary Exam took place on August 17, 23, and 24, 2025. The exam comprised 100 objective-type questions divided into three sections, totaling 100 marks. The sections included: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability.


The English Language section featured 30 questions worth 30 marks.


Quantitative Aptitude included 35 questions, also worth 30 marks.


Reasoning Ability had 35 questions, carrying 40 marks.


Candidates were allotted 20 minutes for each section, making the total exam duration 60 minutes (1 hour).


IBPS PO Marking Scheme

Marking Criteria:
To qualify, candidates must achieve a minimum cut-off score in each section. The marking scheme includes a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. This negative marking emphasizes the importance of careful consideration before answering, rather than hasty responses.
