CBSE Non-Teaching Recruitment Drive



The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated a significant recruitment campaign for non-teaching roles, announcing the availability of 124 positions across various categories including Group A, B, and C. Notably, candidates who have completed their 12th grade are eligible to apply for certain roles.


This recruitment announcement was made on December 2, 2025, with a deadline for applications set for December 22. The positions cater to a wide range of educational qualifications, allowing both graduates and postgraduates to apply for many of the roles.

1. 8 Assistant Secretary positions


2. 27 Assistant Professor and Assistant Director roles


3. 2 Accounts Officer positions


4. 27 Superintendent roles


5. 9 Junior Translation Officer positions

7. 35 Junior Assistant positions


Eligibility Criteria


CBSE has established specific eligibility requirements for each position. Some roles are open to candidates who have completed their 12th grade, while others require a minimum of 55% marks in graduation or post-graduation. For accounting and finance roles, a Master's degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, CA, ICWA, or MBA is necessary. Hindi-related positions require a Master's degree in Hindi. Additionally, candidates for Junior Assistant and Junior Accountant roles must demonstrate a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi. The age limit for applicants ranges from 18 to 35 years, with certain positions allowing a maximum age of 27 to 35 years, depending on the role. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per regulations.


Selection Process


The selection for these positions will occur in three phases: Tier 1 and Tier 2 will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), while some roles will require interviews, and others will be determined solely through written examinations.
