CBSE Class 12 Answer Sheet Scanned Copies: Ongoing Issues and Extended Deadlines
Ongoing Challenges in Obtaining Scanned Copies
Students are facing persistent challenges in acquiring scanned copies of their Class 12 answer sheets from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Despite the board's assurance that everything is functioning smoothly, it has once again prolonged the deadline for applications. Many students, having completed all necessary procedures including payment, are still expressing frustration over their inability to access these scanned documents, causing distress among both students and their parents.
Details of the Application Process and Extensions
The application process for obtaining scanned copies commenced on May 19, with students allowed to submit their requests. However, the online portal was non-operational on the first day. It became functional on May 20 at 2:00 PM, but the CBSE had to revise the application deadline from May 22 to May 23 due to ongoing issues. Students reported problems with payment transactions on May 21.
On the evening of May 22, the portal crashed again, prompting the CBSE to extend the deadline to May 24. Despite this, many students continued to face challenges with their applications. Consequently, the deadline was pushed to May 25, marking a total of three extensions.
Students Report Missing Scanned Copies
Even after completing their applications on May 20, numerous students have yet to receive their scanned copies. Many are voicing their concerns on the social media platform 'X'. One user mentioned that despite finishing the application process on May 20, they have not received their scanned copy. Another user noted that they applied for five subjects but have only received copies for four.
Criticism of the CBSE's handling of the situation is growing, with one user stating, "This is a disgraceful attitude from such a prestigious institution. I submitted my details and paid the fees on May 21, 2026, yet I have received no updates. I even reached out via email and called the help desk, but there has been no response."
