The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the admit card shortly for the re-examination scheduled on June 21. Once available, candidates can download it online to participate in the exam.

The NTA has announced that the admit card for the NEET UG 2026 re-exam will be issued by June 14, 2026. The examination is set to take place on June 21 from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Prior to this, the agency released the exam city slip on June 7, which informed candidates about their respective exam locations.

Why is the Re-Exam Necessary?


The initial NEET UG 2026 exam was conducted on May 3 but was canceled on May 12 due to irregularities linked to an alleged paper leak. This decision was made following an investigation by the Rajasthan Special Operations Group (SOG). Consequently, a re-exam will be held for all candidates on June 21.

Important Information Regarding the Admit Card

Old Admit Card Invalid:


Candidates must be aware that the previous NEET UG admit card issued on April 26, 2026, will not be accepted. Only the newly issued admit card will be valid for entry into the NEET UG 2026 re-exam. The Union Education Minister has confirmed that the new admit card will be provided to all students in a timely manner.

  1. Visit the official NTA website – https://neet.nta.nic.in/.


  2. Click on the "Re-NEET UG 2026 Admit Card" or "Candidate Login" link on the homepage.


  3. Log in using your application number, password, and security PIN.


  4. Your admit card will appear on the screen in PDF format after logging in.


  5. Download it and print it for future reference.
