The board is anticipated to release the admit cards today, February 5, 2026, on its official website. This year, an unprecedented 25 lakh candidates have registered, leading CBSE to modify the exam schedule to span two days – February 7 and 8, 2026.

The CTET examination will take place in 140 cities nationwide. To access the CTET 2026 admit card, candidates will need to provide their application number and date of birth. Following a recent ruling by the Supreme Court, passing the TET has become essential for current teachers. CTET 2026: Exam Dates and New Schedule


Due to the high volume of applications, CBSE has opted to conduct the CTET exam over two days. Initially scheduled for February 8, the exam will now occur on February 7 (Saturday) and February 8 (Sunday). The examination will be divided into two shifts:


  • Shift 1: 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM


  • Shift 2: 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM

  1. Visit the official website ctet.nic.in.


  2. Click on the ‘Download Admit Card for CTET Feb 2026’ link on the homepage.


  3. Input your Application Number and Date of Birth.


  4. Enter the security pin (Captcha) and submit.


  5. The CTET admit card will appear on the screen. Download it and print a copy.



The CTET exam is scored out of 150 marks, with no negative marking. The qualifying marks are as follows:



  • General Category: 60% (90 out of 150).


  • Reserved Categories (OBC/SC/ST): 55% (82 out of 150).
