JEE Main 2026 Correction Details



JEE Main 2026: Today, December 1st, marks the opening of the correction window for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam form. Candidates who wish to amend their JEE Main application can do so by visiting the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. This correction facility will be available until December 5th, 2025.


To initiate corrections, candidates must log in using their application number and password. The JEE Main examination will take place across 13 shifts.


Permissible Changes in the JEE Main Form:


1. Applicant's name, father's or mother's name (if incorrect)


2. Educational details for 10th and 12th grades (or equivalent) – including board, roll number, and passing year


3. State Code of Eligibility


4. Date of Birth


5. Category/Sub-category or PwD status (if applicable)


6. Signature upload or change


7. Desired exam paper/course (e.g., B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, etc.)


8. Exam city and medium, as per the address provided


9. Identity details (if different from Aadhaar)


Changes Not Allowed:


1. Mobile number


2. Email address


3. Permanent and current addresses


4. Emergency contact details


5. Photograph


Correction Fees:


No fees are required for changes related to name, date of birth, school/board information, and examination medium. However, if a candidate alters their category, opts for multiple papers, or selects an exam center abroad, a fee will be applicable.
