Jamia Millia Islamia Introduces 42 Short-Term Skill Courses for Students

Jamia Millia Islamia has launched 42 short-term skill courses aimed at enhancing students' career prospects. Covering in-demand fields like AI, cybersecurity, and digital marketing, these courses are designed to be completed in 3 to 6 months. Registration is open until November 30th, with classes expected to commence in January 2026. Jamia Millia Islamia has unveiled an impressive array of 42 short-term skill courses, encompassing fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital marketing, fashion design, and drone programming.


This initiative by the university's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship aims to equip students with essential modern job skills and technological knowledge. The standout aspect of these courses is their short duration, which facilitates immediate employment opportunities or the possibility of self-employment.


The courses introduced this year focus on the most sought-after skills in the job market, making them particularly advantageous for students looking to enhance their career prospects while continuing their education.


List of Offered Courses:



  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Registration Details:

Course Duration:


The courses will span from 3 to 6 months, with eight of them lasting six months and the rest being completed in three months. This flexibility allows students to select courses that fit their schedules and interests.


Online and Offline Classes:


Out of the 42 courses, 11 will be conducted online, including topics like cybersecurity, data science, AI & ML, and audio-video editing. The remaining courses will be held on campus, ensuring students receive hands-on training.


Commencement of Classes:


Classes are anticipated to start in January 2026, providing ample time for students to make informed decisions about their course selections. The fee structure is designed to be student-friendly, with the highest fee set at ₹12,000, making it an affordable option for acquiring professional skills.
