Bihar PSC TRE-4 Exam: Important Updates and Application Process
Bihar Public Service Commission Announces TRE-4 Exam Details
In response to ongoing protests from candidates, the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has made a significant announcement. The advertisement for the TRE-4 examination is expected to be released by April 19. Candidates can begin applying for the exam starting April 25, with the examination scheduled to take place from September 22 to September 27. A total of 46,882 positions will be advertised, as confirmed by BPSC Examination Controller Rajesh Kumar Singh.
Mandatory District Preferences for Candidates
This time, candidates must indicate their preferences for all 38 districts when filling out the application form. If a candidate selects fewer districts and is assigned to a different one based on their rank, their selection will be invalidated. Therefore, it is highly recommended that candidates choose all 38 districts or as many as possible to avoid losing job opportunities. This recruitment initiative aims to appoint teachers across various schools in the state.
Changes in Fee Payment Process
Additionally, the fee payment procedure has been revised. Candidates are now required to complete their payment first, after which they will gain access to the application form. The application process has been restructured into three stages: first, the One-Time Registration (OTR); second, profile creation; and third, submission of the final application. Completing the OTR and profile details in advance will significantly expedite the application process.
New Application Process for TRE-4
The TRE-4 application process will differ from previous TRE exams (TRE-1, TRE-2, and TRE-3). Candidates should exercise caution while filling out their forms. Past issues with fee payments have led to a complete overhaul of this system. Now, candidates must make their payment before proceeding with the application.
Vacancy Distribution Across Departments
The TRE-4 recruitment encompasses four departments: the Education Department, the Backward and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department, the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department, and the Minority Welfare Department. The Education Department has the highest number of vacancies, with 10,778 positions available in the Primary Section (Classes 1–5), 8,583 in the Middle School Section (Classes 6–8), 982 at the Secondary level (Classes 9–10), and 16,774 at the Higher Secondary level (Classes 11–12).
Complete Your OTR Early
The Examination Controller has advised candidates to finish their One-Time Registration (OTR) before the official registration process begins. Those who have already completed their OTR will not face delays in submitting their application forms. Candidates are encouraged to submit their forms promptly; waiting until the last minute can lead to website traffic issues, causing system overloads that may prevent successful submissions.
